Rotted Capes: Deadhead City
“Back in the good old days we thought we were saving the world. We would go out in our suits with a sense of purpose. We would take down petty criminals without any trouble. Sure, there were the so-called super villains. It was all routine though. We would exchange witty banter then duke it out. No one ever really got hurt. It was part of a game and showmanship. Things were black and white. We were the heroes. We showed up and shaved the day.”
“It all changed on Z-day, though. Everything. Suddenly we were fighting for out lives against a threat we were unprepared for. Gone was the “Pow” and “Bam.” The bad guys didn’t fall down after one punch. The zombies didn’t care about our speeches or costumes. All they wanted was our flesh."
